Policies & Procedures

Laramie County Community College’s (LCCC) Policy and Procedures Manual provides the college community with a written record of current Board of Trustee policies and administrative procedures. Many policies and procedures in the manual have wide applicability – they affect academic and administrative areas, all employees, or the activities of the College as they relate to students, alumni, the community, and the general public. While this manual contains a number of fundamental polices of LCCC, it is not intended to cover every situation that may arise.

This manual is the official College document for all employees of LCCC, regardless of length of service, classification, or appointment type. All employees are expected to be familiar with both general and specific policies and regulations that affect employment or the fulfillment of their position’s responsibilities. Knowledge of the Board’s policies and the College’s overall operating procedures will enhance employees’ effectiveness as important members of the staff. When employees do not understand any of the material or have questions about matters not covered in the manual, they are responsible for communicating such needs to their immediate supervisor.
